Kelly Spencer

Kelly (Rogers) Spencer is a Senior Associate with the firm, with extensive litigation experience.  She specializes in business litigation, employment law, real estate disputes, and construction matters. 

Kelly has handled a variety of litigation matters, including contract disputes involving Purchase & Sale Agreements, Leases, mechanic’s liens, garage keeper’s liens, etc., as well as landlord-tenant issues, condominium law disputes, and foreclosure matters. She also handles matters with the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, Department of Unemployment Assistance, and Division of Administrative Law Appeals (DALA). Kelly regularly conducts legal research and writing, which includes motions, memoranda of law, appellate briefs, etc. 

Prior to joining Rosen & Goyal, P.C., Kelly worked as a civil litigation attorney for over 30 years in Massachusetts. She has substantial experience in all aspects of civil litigation from case intake through final disposition. She handled a heavy caseload in both representing and defending parties with a wide range of values (highest value being $2,750,000.00), which included medical malpractice, personal injury, employment discrimination, sexual harassment, sexual abuse, etc.   

Kelly is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, including the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.  She has also argued cases before the Massachusetts Appeals Court.
