      Biography

Emilie L. Grossman is a senior associate with the firm.  Her practice includes employment litigation, representing both plaintiff and management-side clients in cases involving discrimination, harassment, accommodations, retaliation, and contract negotiations. Emilie also handles real estate and land use cases, as well as landlord-tenant matters. Her civil litigation practice covers a variety of areas, including corporate disputes, construction matters, and fraudulent transfers, to name a few. Emilie also handles cases from the firm’s administrative practice, representing health care professionals before various Massachusetts licensing boards. In addition to experience conducting trials in the Massachusetts Superior Court and Land Court, Emilie regularly appears before Massachusetts state and federal courts, and recently expanded her practice to include New Hampshire.  Emilie was designated in 2021 as a Massachusetts Rising Star by Super Lawyers magazine’s annual list of top attorneys.
Prior to joining Rosen & Goyal, P.C., Emilie worked as an associate for D’Ambrosio Brown, where she focused on complex civil matters and municipal litigation.  Additionally, Emilie worked as in-house counsel to a privately held Boston internet software company, where she gained substantial experience with corporate compliance, internal business matters and commercial litigation.  Emilie has a strong commitment to her clients, and works hard to ensure satisfying and favorable results.
Emilie is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, including the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. She is also licensed to practice in the state of New Hampshire.
Emilie received her Juris Doctor from New England School of Law, where she was a senior editor for the New England Journal of International and Comparative Law and vice president of the Intellectual Property Law Association. Emilie received a dual bachelor’s degree, cum laude, in Philosophy and Psychology from St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York.
