Emilie L. Grossman Lyon

Emilie is a senior attorney with Rosen & Goyal, P.C., where she represents businesses, nonprofits, and professionals in complex litigation and employment, business, real estate, and regulatory matters through Massachusetts and New Hampshire. With experience as a trial attorney, Emilie focuses on understanding not only the legal issues her clients face, but also the practical, professional, and personal considerations that shape the best path forward.

Emilie has tried many cases in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, including matters involving healthcare fraud and regulatory enforcement, business and real estate disputes, and requests for injunctive and equitable relief. In 2026, Emilie served as lead counsel in a multi-week Massachusetts Medicaid fraud enforcement action in which the Commonwealth sought more than $40 million. Following trial, the court rejected the Commonwealth’s principal fraud theories and found overwhelmingly in favor of the firm’s clients.

Beyond litigation, Emilie regularly serves as a trusted advisor to businesses, executives, and professionals. She counsels clients on employment and personnel issues (including wrongful termination, reasonable accommodation and workplace leave issues), contracts and negotiations, commercial and residential lease matters, business disputes, risk management, professional practice matters, and acquisitions and other transactions. She brings a practical perspective to matters and works with clients to identify solutions that advance their objectives while managing legal and business risk.

Emilie has also represented healthcare providers and other licensed professionals in regulatory and administrative matters. She assists clients facing licensing investigations and disciplinary proceedings before Massachusetts professional licensing boards and represents healthcare providers in government investigations and enforcement actions.
