Biography

Courtney Clark is a Paralegal and Office Manager at Rosen & Goyal. She supports the attorneys in many different capacities, including legal research, assisting with the production of pleadings, filing pleadings with state and federal courts and other agencies, and acting as the initial point of contact for all Unemployment Law Group (“ULG”) matters.  Courtney also represents our ULG clients with appeal hearings before the Department of Unemployment Assistance and New Hampshire Employment Security.

Courtney handles many of the initial intake calls, taking the time and attention to speak with the individual about their concerns as if they were her own. She then presents them to the attorneys to efficiently identify if and how the firm can help. Communication is the key in getting each problem solved and Courtney is well equipped to ask the right questions and obtain the answers.

On top of the legal support she provides, Courtney also handles many of the administrative aspects for the office including assisting with client billing and providing administrative support to the President of the Lawrence Bar Association, Attorney Kavita Goyal.

Prior to joining the team at Rosen & Goyal, Courtney worked as a Paralegal at Eaton Vance Management in Boston, MA, where she supported attorneys in litigation as well as with SEC filings.

Courtney graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, B.A. in 2006 with a major in Legal Studies.  Her internships included the Judicial Internship Program where she observed and discussed legal proceedings with Justice Judd Carhart at the Springfield Superior Court, Certification in Social Justice Mediation and the Department of Youth Services.   She received her Paralegal Certificate from Northeastern University in 2007.
