      Biography

Analisa (Partap) Eckel is an associate with the firm, supporting its healthcare, employment and real estate practices. She represents small businesses and individuals in litigation, advice and counseling.

Prior to joining Rosen & Goyal, Analisa practiced in diverse areas ranging from real property, conveyancing, contract, family and estate law. She has represented clients in family, contract and property proceedings at the Magistrates’ court and Family court in the Republic of Trinidad & Tobago.

Her areas of focus included resolution of property and contractual disputes, enforcing property settlement orders, divorce proceedings, child custody and alimony enforcement orders.   She has advocated for male and female victims of domestic violence, sought enforcement of protective orders as well as child support payment.

In 2009, Analisa became a member of the Bar in the Republic of Trinidad & Tobago. She commenced her practice of law with Dana Seetahal SC in the city of Port-of-Spain, where she gained exposure and experience in Criminal law and Constitutional law. She regularly appeared with counsel before the High Court and Court of Appeals and served as an instructing attorney on related matters.

During her time in Trinidad & Tobago, her practice was also dedicated to seeking the interest of indigent clients and the wider underserved population in pro bono representation and advocating on their behalf by implementing social reform policy at the local community council level.

Prior to admission to the Bar in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Analisa resided and studied in Oxford, England where she was honored to serve as a caseworker for Bail for Immigration Detainees, an independent charity providing legal advice, policy advocacy and strategic litigation.

Analisa is licensed to practice in the Republic of Trinidad & Tobago, Massachusetts, New York, and New Hampshire.
